GLENELG - Completing the NEW Legal Forms AND Writing creative fresh ceremonies

The course will deliver the knowledge and useful tools and resources for those new to celebrancy and, possibly, those celebrants who already have been celebrants for some time but may have taken a break or they have had a long time in between ceremonies. Participants will have a constructive overview of:

  • how the Notice of Intended Marriage should be completed
  • the most common errors when completing the forms
  • how the Notice and supporting documents can be received in an online environment
  • the completion of all other legal documentation – up to and including the signing on the day of the wedding
  • how the marriage should then be registered with the appropriate BDM

Sitting down to write and work on a couple’s wedding ceremony can, at times, be overwhelming - it's an empty document expectantly staring at you.  You get that final university paper feeling with the cursor blinking in your face.  You know there are a bunch of components in a wedding ceremony, but which ones should you include?  And which ones need to be included to make the marriage legal? This course provides celebrants with both the knowledge to professionally and creatively compose ceremonies with a new appreciation and perception as to how they can achieve this objective.
